*** Women and Children First Tour ***

Personnel: David Lee Roth-Vocals :: Edward Van Halen-Guitar :: Alex Van Halen-Drums :: Michael Anthony-Bass.

Notes: "You Really Got Me" was omitted due to space constraints of a 74 minute CD-R. :: The sound quality is MUCH better than the vinyl version and seems to be from the "original" tape source, with few pops or crackles. :: The show is spliced in several places (in between every song). :: Show is very clear with no one instrument overpowering the others. :: The CD-R is white with reverse blue lettering "1980 LONDON INVASION". :: Artwork is very glossy. Very high quality. :: Front cover is a picture of Eddie with his guitar. :: Inside cover is a picture of all 4 members from the 1980 Tour with the setlist printed over them. :: Under the disc tray is a b/w picture of the cover image. :: Back has a picture of Dave standing on the drum riser in a zebra suit with fuzzy boots. :: At times there is quite a bit of crowd cheering which could have been edited out to leave room for the last song that was omitted.<-(Info taken from

b: i was at that show!

Anonyme a dit…

Paul is right, the venue is called the Rainbow Theatre and VH played there in June 79 and I was at that show.
Sadly it is now a church.

This blog is merely an index with public links for audio recordings of independent origin (ROIO) which have not been officially released. No audio or video content is hosted here. We only provide meta information files for the ROIOs. If you're an artist (or a legal representative of an artist or its estate) and you don't want your ROIOs shared on this blog for FREE among your fans, you may opt out any time by sending e-mail to the site admin. We will then put you in our list of not allowed artists. This will halt all sharing of your ROIOs in this blog within minutes. BTW, the ROIOs exist, you can't make them vanish. So, why not let your fans get them for free from one another instead of having to purchase them from commercial bootleggers on auction sites?
