04. Wish You Were Here
05. Shine on You Crazy Diamond (parts VI-IX)

Personnel: Roger Waters :: David Gilmour :: Rick Wright :: Nick Mason :: Snowy White :: Dick Perry.

Notes: New York City was pumped, the local WNEW-FM began airing spots, and a giant inflatable pink pig was launched in Central Park’s Sheep Meadows (now Strawberry Fields in memory of John Lennon). A Floyd soundboard recording from the 1977 tour is a rare commodity. A lot of great audience recordings exist, but a soundboard is very rare. As Floyd take the stage for the second set, opening with “Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” one fan comments, “I was about to hear my favorite album of all time played live by my favorite rock group.” Envision dry ice bellowing from the stage, breathtaking animation, and goose bumps as Floyd’s Syd Barrett ode swirls through the speakers. This blog is merely an index with public links for audio recordings of independent origin (ROIO) which have not been officially released. No audio or video content is hosted here. We only provide meta information files for the ROIOs. If you're an artist (or a legal representative of an artist or its estate) and you don't want your ROIOs shared on this blog for FREE among your fans, you may opt out any time by sending e-mail to the site admin. We will then put you in our list of not allowed artists. This will halt all sharing of your ROIOs in this blog within minutes. BTW, the ROIOs exist, you can't make them vanish. So, why not let your fans get them for free from one another instead of having to purchase them from commercial bootleggers on auction sites?
